Breast Anatomy

Female breast anatomy are made up of mammary glands, glandular tissue and adipocytes (fat cells). Although the adipocytes are present in all areas of the body that store fat, in the female breast they are larger thus more fat is stored there. What this means is that the main reason for an increase or decrease in breast size is due to increases in fat percentage. Other factors such as genetics (which can state how much fat one tends to store in the breasts), muscle tone and your age all have a general bearing on breast size. The only known way that the mammary glands can increase naturally is through an increase in secondary sex hormones. See below.

The Endocrine system is the system that initiates the changes that should have occurred during puberty. In this way it also controls the Adrenal gland that influences how our body's produce secondary sex characteristics, in the female estrogens and other steroid sex hormones are released.
13 % of patients that receive implants require another operation due to complications.
Age is a factor with regard to the amount of fat one stores (due to varying degrees in hormones) and whether the breasts have begun to sag. It is the sagging that muscle tone can help prevent, the Pectoralis muscles of the chest support your breasts to give them their shape. Training these muscles can have considerable improvements in breast size and shape. Training will also strengthen the ligaments that support the breasts , these are the parts that stretch to give the breast that sag in later life.
